TURF Validator Node

tNODE validators for app-chain network security

The Validator Network of Turf serves as the backbone of its decentralized architecture, ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of its dynamic gaming economies. The Validator Network establishes a robust infrastructure that powers data orchestration and seamless gaming interactions, forming the foundation of Turf’s ecosystem.

  1. Network Security

Turf’s Validator Network is designed with a strong emphasis on security, ensuring the integrity of transactions and gameplay interactions. Validators play a critical role in maintaining the trust and efficiency of the system.

  2. Contribution to Data Orchestration

Validators are pivotal in enabling Turf’s data orchestration layer as it's a built-in capability. Their role extends beyond transaction validation, directly contributing to the seamless flow of gameplay data.

  3. Staking & Slashing

To maintain network integrity, Turf employs a robust staking and slashing mechanism. Validator must stake Node License Tokens (NLT) as an initial requirement to join the network. Nodes are permitted to operate upon staking the NLT. For specialized nodes, an additional stake of 'Y' number of TURF tokens is required, with the ability to stake more than one NLT. Increased staked NLTs enhance the probability of being selected in the consensus process. Staked assets act as collateral, incentivizing Validator to perform their duties honestly and efficiently. Validator engaging in malicious behavior face penalties through partial or complete loss of their stake.

This mechanism ensures accountability while maintaining the system's security and reliability. Validator earn rewards proportional to their performance, derived from network fees and gaming ecosystem activities.

  4. App Chain Specifications

Turf operates as an Avalanche L1 app chain, is configured to prioritize low-latency, high-frequency data validation, catering to the real-time needs of gaming economies.
